Firefox and Safari

I opened up both firefox and safari to see the differences and similarities of my page on both browsers. So far, here are my results.

similarities:
Almost everything I see on my page, using both browsers, are very similar. The placing of all my links seem to all be in the same place. When I click on my labs, they seem to come out all the same to. Watching both of my pages on both browsers, it's very hard to find any differences at all.

differences:
As typed above, finding any differences on my page, using both browsers. The only thing i really notice is that on firefox, my page is slightly bigger. If you look very closely, i also notice that on firefox, some of my labs come out looking a tad bit brighter. Safari on the hand looks a little bit duller. It might just be me though but it's what I see.

How will technology help you in your future career?

For a long time i thought about what i really want to be. It hard to chose because there are so many choices out there. I have chosen my goal to be someone who works in video producting. I want to be able to create the special effects that you see in the movies. I want to be able to make my working career worth while. If i can do that, I know that i am well on my way to accomplish that goal.
Technology can help me a lot in my future career. If I actually become a video producer, i will be able to work with technology for as long as i wish. I took multimedia last year and it helped me understand the basic on how to make video. I was able to learn how to add certain effects to a picture. I learned how to edit a picture and well as distort its shape. I even had the chance to make a small add with music. Learning these types of things in school now will help me build my foundation to a strong career later. I know i can make it.

LB6 Angelina Beltran P5

Lab #6 was a lab where we had to make our own logos. They had to be a logo that represented a charity or some type of book. I based my logo on the "Starlight Children's Foundation". This foundation helps all types of kids. For my logo, I decided to put the name of the logo and add a style to make it stand out more. I used the star tool to create the stars. I changed some of the stars roundness and shape to add a bit of diversity. If you look closely some of the stars actually have a texture. For the background, i choose a solid color and added texture. I finally added my own picture onto the logo. It shows children that are happy together. This shows how much the children are cared for in this foundation.

Lab 4 Logo

As you see above, this is one of the labs we worked on. We had to create our own type of logo with our name. When i made this logo I used a program that was fairly new to me called Adobe Fireworks. I used the rectangle to to make the area i needed with color. I changed the colors to make it blue and orange. I use the type tool to then type up my name in any font i wish. I decided to add a bit of decoration so i used the star, shell, and spiral tool to make all the cute shapes. I finish it off by adding a texture to the small designs. It's simple but i like it very much.

Plagiarism and Piratism

Plagiarism is basically copying somebody's work and passing it off as your own. It is illegal to do and you can be put in prison for it.
Piratism is when you take someone's work and publish it without their permission. Like plagiarism, it is also illegal.

I have been guilty about plagiarism once but that was when i never knew the meaning of the word. Since then, I have never plagiarized anyones work.
